M-Mansa Musa helped Mali reach it’s peak.

A- Arabic was taught by Mansa Musa.

N- Niger River was by Mali.

S- Stressed the importance of Islam.

A-  According to peoples’ beliefs, ancestors made an agreement with the spirits of the mansa.

M-  Mali’s most famous leader.

U-  Unified Mali.

S- Stressed the importance of education.

1. WHAT IS THE TITLE. HOW DID YOU DECIDE ON THE TITLE?

“Sundiata” I chose the title as a basic one-word, because it’s simple, and it’s the name of the leader.

2. WHAT IS THE PLOT OR STORYLINE? WRITE A SHORT SUMMARY.

The plot of my story is in West Africa, in Mali, in the mid- 1200’s.

It’s basically about Sundiata, and his childhood, and then his adulthood, and his power, and rise to fame.
